Copying a document

Important

Change the language before you sign in. See Change the printer language.

Always sign out when you are finished.

The Canon printer logs you out automatically after 60 seconds. Until then, other users may be able to view and use your print jobs.

Make a copy

1. Go to a Canon printer and log in.

   If needed, see Log in to a Canon printer.

2. Tap Copy.

   

   Tap Copy to open the copy function.

3. Place the document in the document feeder or on the glass platen.

   Place the document in the document feeder with the printed side facing up.

   You can load several loose sheets at the same time.

   Use the platen glass for bound, damaged or thin documents.

   Also use the platen glass for documents with staples.

   

   Place loose sheets in the document feeder with the printed side facing up.

   Place the document on the glass platen with the printed side facing down.

   

   Place the document on the platen glass with the printed side facing down.

4. Change the copy settings if needed.

   

   Check and change the copy settings if needed.

5. Press the green Start button.

   The Canon printer starts copying your document.

6. Sign out when you are finished.

   Hold your card against the card reader.

   Wait until you hear a beep.

   You can also tap Log Out.
