Log in to a Canon printer

Important

Change the language before signing in.

The Canon printer is set to English by default.

To use another language, tap the language icon at the bottom of the log-in screen.

Do not change the language while printing. This may cause the Canon printer to stop responding.

Always log out when you are finished.

The Canon printer signs you out automatically after two minutes. Until then, other users may be able to see and print your print jobs.

Tap the language icon to change the language.

1. Log in with your UU campus card or personal card

1. Your UU campus card is already linked to your account.

   Are you a student or guest and do you want to use a personal card? Link the card to your account first.

2. Hold your card against the card reader.

   Wait until you hear a beep.

2. Log in with the Campus Print app

The Campus Print app needs permission to use your device's camera.

The app uses the camera to scan the QR code on the Canon printer.

The app asks for permission when needed.

1. Open the Campus Print app.

   Do you not have the app yet? See: Install the Campus Print app .

2. Select UU as your location.
3. The first time you use the app, sign in with your Solis ID.
4. In the Campus Print app, tap Log in to the printer.

5. Point the camera at the QR code on the Canon printer's control panel.

   Scan the QR code.

3. Log in with a temporary PIN code

The temporary PIN code is valid for one day.

1. Request a PIN code in the Print Portal.

   See: Request a PIN code .

2. The PIN code is immediately visible in the UU Print Portal.

   You will also receive the PIN code by email.

   Do you use the Campus Print app? The PIN code is also shown in the app.

3. Go to the Canon printer.

   Tap PIN code.

   

   Tap PIN code.

4. Enter your PIN code.

   Tap Login.

   

   Enter your PIN code and tap Login.
