How does automatic top up work?

Never run out of print credit. You can top up your personal print credit automatically. To do this, you give permission for automatic payments from your bank account.

You can turn automatic top-up off at any time. You can also request a refund of your personal print credit to your bank account.

How automatic top-up works

1. Choose a minimum top-up amount, for example € 5.
2. Pay this amount once with iDEAL/Wero. During the payment, you give permission for future automatic top-ups.
3. At the end of each day, the system checks how much print credit you have left.
4. Is your print credit below € 1? Then new print credit is added automatically. The amount is charged to your bank account. After the top-up, you will have at least € 3 of print credit.

When is your print credit topped up automatically?

Two rules are used to calculate the top-up amount:

1. After the top-up, you will always have at least € 3 of print credit. This is the minimum balance.
2. Is the amount needed to reach € 3 less than your chosen minimum top-up amount? Then the system adds your chosen minimum top-up amount instead.

Example 1

Current print credit: -€ 1

Minimum top-up amount: € 5

You need € 4 to reach a balance of € 3. Because € 4 is less than the chosen minimum of € 5, the system adds € 5.

New print credit: -€ 1 + € 5 = € 4.

Example 2

Current print credit: -€ 4

Minimum top-up amount: € 5

You need € 7 to reach a balance of € 3. Therefore, the system adds € 7.

New print credit: -€ 4 + € 7 = € 3.

When do you pay?

You can use your new print credit immediately after the automatic top-up.

The amount is charged to your bank account within a few days.
